QB Kyle Orton was taking 1st-team reps as the Broncos opened training camp on Thursday. It’s a strange situation. Trade talks are ongoing, and Denver is taking a big-time risk by letting Orton onto the field. If he gets hurt, his trade market will quickly dissipate. Besides that, you’d think the Broncos would want to get Tim Tebow all the 1st-team work they can if Orton is truly going to be dealt. Maybe an Orton trade isn’t a lock after all. Stay tuned…
