[Slide Show] Ravens held three days of player only workouts at Towson University Maryland. More than 20 players were on the field at Johnny Unitas Stadium doing low-impact running, passing and kicking drills which were organized by All-Pro wide receiver Derrick Mason.
For the rookies, Torrey Smith, Tandon Doss, Tyrod Taylor and Anthony Allen it was a chance to learn from the best and get some one on one with the veteran players.
While the lockout is presenting many challenges for all players, the rookies are also faced with some problems the veteran stars aren’t encountering. They haven’t been paid yet. Allen said he has about $17 in his bank account but it still feels good to practice with his new teammates.
Other players at the workout included Joe Flacco, Domonique Foxworth, Haruki Nakamura, Anquan Boldin and Ray Rice. Here are some insider photos of the workouts from Kevin Koski.
