Time to tap the breaks on the Beanie Wells hype train. According to ESPN’s Mike Sando, 2nd-round rookie RB Ryan Williams has looked like a "better pure runner" than Wells early on in training camp. "Where Wells is more of a downhill runner with straight-line tendencies, Williams has shown he can cut effortlessly, even at high speed," Sando observes. Williams definitely has more big-play ability than Wells, and he’s also a better pass-catcher. We’re still expecting Wells to lead this backfield in touches this year, but it’s a reminder that Williams is plenty talented in his own right.
