Eagles WR DeSean Jackson has ended his holdout and reported to training camp. He would have lost an accrued year towards free-agency had he not reported today.
D-Jax is still set to earn just $565,000 this season, so you can bet he’ll continue to angle for a new deal. But it doesn’t look like that will prevent him from playing ball. His compensation was based on his draft numbers and did not provide for performance increases.
He is in the final year his rookie deal contract and wants a long-term deal based on his performance and injury risk for his position.
