Texans HC Gary Kubiak confirmed that QB T.J. Yates is fully expected to start the team’s Wild Card game against the Bengals this weekend. Yates separated his left (non-throwing) shoulder in the season finale, but he’s been cleared by team doctors. Kubiak said Yates "threw well" on Tuesday. Of course, he wasn’t throwing the ball much even when he was healthy — averaging just 26 attempts in his 5 full games — and Houston figures to go even more run-heavy now.
