Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady topped the list for the quarterbacks selected to meet up in Hawaii for the Pro Bowl. Each was named the starting quarterback for their respective conferences.
However, the Pro Bowl will be played the week before the Super Bowl, meaning the quarterbacks from each conference champion are eliminated from the rosters. Packers secured the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC playoffs following last Sunday’s game. The Patriots have the ability to earn the AFC’s top spot if the defeat Buffalo this weekend.
The Pro Bowl is scheduled to take place January 29 in Honolulu.
The Dever Post is reporting that the Denver Broncos quarterback was chosen as a second alternate for the AFC, meaning if two quarterbacks from the conference decline to attend the game Tebow will be added to the roster.
