The Rams have hired Brian Schottenheimer as their new OC. He’d been in the same position with the Jets since 2006.
Once regarded as one of the brightest offensive minds in the game, Schottenheimer’s stock has taken a hit over the past couple seasons.
HC Rex Ryan called out Schotty’s system for being too complex after the Jets finished 25th in total offense this past season. He now takes over a unit that finished 31st in offense and 32nd in points scored in 2011.
