Bills HC Chan Gailey plans on using a committee attack at RB in 2012. “I wouldn’t call it 50-50, but it’s closer to 50-50 than it ever has been because [C.J. Spiller’s] more confident and we have more confidence in him having experience now,” Gailey said.

Hopefully we’ll end up with a two-headed monster which will be pretty strong.” Fred Jackson was one of the best RBs in the league before going down with a fractured leg in Week 11. But he’ll also be 31 years old when the 2012 season kicks off.
Spiller, meanwhile, finally seemed to figure it out in the 2nd half of the year, averaging 5.2 yards per carry over the final 6 weeks. He also caught 24 balls over that span. Fred Jax is still a good bet to lead the team in carries next season, but Spiller doesn’t figure to be far behind.
