After attending their first day of Organized Team Activities, a few members of the Buffalo Bills headed to Toronto for a unique experience. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, tight end Scott Chandler, wide receiver Donald Jones, and defensive tackle Kyle Williams went across the border to spend time with Toronto Blue Jays players. The Toronto Blue Jays are hosting the Baltimore Orioles tonight at their home field, the Rogers Centre, so the MLB team decided to invite a few Bills players to attend their batting practice before the game.
Seeing as though the Buffalo Bills have been playing one game per season at the Rogers Centre in Toronto since 2008, and just extended their contract through 2017, the Bills are familiar with the city and the stadium. Toronto embraces the Buffalo Bills and this was a great way for two professional teams who play at the same stadium to come together. Hopefully the Blue Jays took it easy on Fitzpatrick, Chandler, Jones, and Williams so they are ready for the second day of OTA’s at One Bills Drive tomorrow.
