Griffin visits Redskins

It was reported recently that Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III wouldn’t conduct any private workouts. Well apparently that doesn’t include meetings, as Griffin is in Washington D.C. to visit the Redskins.

This is the first time that Griffin has come to Redskins’ facilities as all previous meetings were in Griffin’s home state of Texas.

What the meeting was about is most likely where he is with the offensive playbook, as it is expected that the Indianapolis Colts will take quarterback Andrew Luck first overall at the end of this month and Griffin is expected to become a Redskin, going as the number two player overall.

The report was confirmed as Griffin was spotted dining at a Washington D.C. area restaurant with Redskins owner Dan Snyder, General Manager Bruce Allen and Head Coach Mike Shanahan.
