Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin, and Ryan Tannehill – widely-regarded as the top-3 QB prospects in this year’s draft class – have all opted against throwing at the Combine on Sunday. This has been the norm lately. QBs tend to underperform at the Combine when they’re throwing to WRs they aren’t familiar with. Instead, all three guys will throw to their own receivers at their respective Pro Days.
Griffin has pushed up his Pro Day up to March 21st. He was originally scheduled to work out on March 22nd – the same day as Luck. Talent evaluators will now be able to watch both guys throw about a month before the draft.
