Jake Delhomme signs with Texans

The Texans have signed QB Jake Delhomme.  For now, they're committed to rookie QB T.J. Yates as their starter.  But he won't have a long leash.  We wouldn't be surprised to see Delhomme under center before the end of the season.  That doesn't mean he's a recommended fantasy add though.  He's well past his prime, having tossed 10 TDs vs. a whopping 25 INTs over the past 2 seasons.  Delhomme would be a classic game-manager if he takes over as Houston's starter.
