Matt Stafford thew five touchdown passes to stop the Lions two-game losing streak and improve the team’s record to 7-3 as they prepare to host the undefeated Packers on Thanksgiving. The Panthers jumped out to an early 27-7 lead but couldn’t hold off the Lions in the second half. Cam Newton had 317 passing and rushing yards and threw for a touchdown and rushed for 2 more.On the downside, he thew three interceptions that allowed the Lions to get back into the game. Kevin Smith returned from oblivion to gain 201 yards from scrimmage and scored three touchdowns.
