The Rams picked up their second win to improve their record to 2-7, while the Browns fell to 3-6. The Browns failed to score more than 12 points for the fourth consecutive game.
In spite of their offensive impotence, the Browns had a shot to kick a 5th field goal for the victory with two minutes left, but a bad snap ended with the kick sailing wide left.
Steven Jackson had 128 yards rushing, and Sam Bradford managed just 155 yards passing, but had the 1 TD that was the difference in the game.
The Browns Colt McCoy passed for 218 yards, and the Browns also had 126 yards rushing, but they were unable to break the seal on the endzone.
