Saints RB Mark Ingram will miss this weekend’s game as he recovers from a heel injury suffered last weekend. Ingram is coming off the best game of his young career, as last week he amassed 91 yards rushing on just 14 attempts, averaging 6.5 yards per carry in the Saints dominating win over the Colts, 62-7.
On the season, Ingram has 329 yards rushing, averaging 3.9 yards per carry, and 3 TDs. He leads all Saints’ rushers, followed by Darren Sproles who has 289 yards rushing, but is averaging 7.4 yards per carry.
Ingram and Sproles are turning into the Saints equivalent of Thunder and Lightning, and the Saints will look forward to getting Ingram back soon.
