Seattle, WA- The anticipated match-up between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Minnesota Vikings have stirred up debates among many fans and it has been very interesting with what they had to say about the matchup.
Coming into the NFC Championship both defenses are almost evenly matched and they have shocked the world with overcoming many obstacles, but one team will leave in defeat, while the other team gets a chance to the SuperBowl.
Will Stein who is a Vikings’ fan stated that the Vikings have a good chance to go to the Superbowl if they play mistake free and let the game come to them. “We know the Eagles like to disguise their inside blitz and that is something that Case Keenum needs to take heed to. In order for a Vikings’ victory, our defense has to put a lot of pressure on Nick Foles. We have seen that Foles has had trouble getting his wide receivers in the game early, we have to take them out their game early and make them one dimensional. Again this game will probably be a field goal game, but I am going 13-10 Vikings.
Mike Dixon, who is neither a fan, but is a fan of football stated almost the same thing that has been repeated since Foles has taken over as the QB and that is he has to be careful not to dial up plays to his first read. “In the game against the Falcons, the Eagles had problems scoring and they could not get anything offensively going. Their main weapon that has defeated opponents is their defense. Their defense has saved them on numerous occasions, but the Eagles have to put up points on the Vikings because the Vikings can score at will and that might decide the outcome of the game.”
The underdogs in this match-up are the Eagles, as they were last week, but last week they showed some grit with overcoming adversity to get to the next round. However, they will have to stop the miracle team in order to secure themselves a spot in the Superbowl. This should be a battle of running backs, a well as defenses, and the deciding factor in this game will have to be what team puts the most pressure on the QB.
