A 6-5, 225-pound Miami (OH) product, Albright played in 48 career games as a RedHawk, making 35 starts as a defensive end while recording 180 tackles, 19.0 sacks and 33.5 tackles for loss. Albright earned second-team All-MAC honors in 2015 after tallying 7.0 sacks and 12.5 tackles for loss on the season. He is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio.
A 6-2, 201-pound Marshall product, Allen turned in his most prolific season during his senior collegiate season—notching career highs with 58 catches, 715 yards and five touchdowns. Allen’s 1,612 career yards at Marshall rank 19th in school history while his 13 touchdown catches rank 20th. He is a native of Belle Glade, Florida.
Chambers, a 6-4, 215-pound Arizona State product, appeared in 34 games during his four seasons with the Sun Devils. Chambers finished his collegiate career with 36 catches for 690 yards and four touchdowns—including a career-long 58-yard touchdown grab in the final minutes of the Cactus Bowl that went down as the final catch of his time as a Sun Devil. Chambers is a native of Glendale, Arizona.
A 6-2, 244-pound LSU product, Ferguson started all four seasons at long snapper for the Tigers, snapping for both punt and field goal attempts. Ferguson was credited with 497 snaps during his collegiate career—with his only errant snap occurring during his freshman season. He is a native of Budford, Georgia.
Gronkowski, a 6-2, 239-pound Kansas State product, earned first-team All-Big 12 honors in 2014. A native of Buffalo, NY, Gronkowski was a mainstay on the Kansas State offense during his collegiate career. Appearing in all 39 games the Cougars played over the past three years, Gronkowski’s final collegiate stat line included 15 catches for 369 yards and five touchdowns in addition to 16 rushes for 51 yards and another score. Gronkowski’s brother, Rob, currently plays for the New England Patriots. His two other brothers, Dan and Chris, have also spent time in the NFL.
A 6-3, 294-pound Purdue product, Kugler joins the Bills after a distinguished four-year career as a Boilermaker. A two-time captain, Kugler earned the starting center position mid-way through his redshirt freshman season and went on to start 43 consecutive games for Purdue. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kugler was named the Boilermakers’ team MVP as a junior. Kugler is the son of Sean, who is a former Bills offensive line coach and is currently the head football coach at UTEP.
Lalk, a 6-6, 303-pound Iowa State product, transitioned to the center position prior to his senior season after spending the earlier portions of his collegiate career as a guard. Lalk’s transition was a successful one as the Council Bluffs, Iowa native went on to start all 12 games for the Cyclones en route to second team All-Big 12 honors. Lalk helped pave the way for the Iowa State offense to rush for 182.0 yards per game—the school’s best since the 2000 season.
A 6-5, 294-pound Fresno State product, Louis comes to Buffalo after being an honorable mention All-Mountain West selection as a fifth-year senior in 2015. Louis played in 28 collegiate games during his time as a Bulldog, recording 57 tackles, 5.5 sacks and eight tackles for loss. He is a native of Boynton Beach, Florida.
Lucas, a 6-3, 319-pound West Virginia product, started 30-of-36 career games played along the Mountaineers offensive line. The Miami, Florida native started at left tackle throughout his senior campaign—helping West Virginia average 228.2 yards per game on the ground. Lucas saw time at both right and left tackle during his four-year collegiate career.
Lumpkin, Rutgers’ starting left tackle for the past three seasons, comes to the Bills after earning 2015 honorable mention All-Big 10 plaudits for his play. The 6-8, 325-pound Montclair, New Jersey native also received the Bender Trophy—awarded to the Scarlet Knights’ best offensive lineman. Lumpkin started 37-of-40 games played during his collegiate career.
Morgan joins the Bills special teams units after leaving Georgia as one of the top kickers in school history. The 6-3, 194-pound Fort Lauderdale, Florida native finished his collegiate career ranking third all-time at UGA and in the SEC in scoring with 407 points. Morgan successfully converted 215-of-220 extra point attempts and 64-of-84 field goal attempts—including a career-long 56-yarder at Tennessee in 2013.
A first-team All-American selection (Sporting News/Sports Illustrated), Striker comes to Buffalo after an illustrious career as an Oklahoma Sooner. The 6-0, 221-pound Tampa, Florida native started 39-of-52 career games played during his collegiate career, racking up 191 tackles, 46.5 tackles for loss, 23.0 sacks and 11 passes defensed. Striker was also honored following the 2015 season with OU’s Bob Kalsu Award—an award named after the former Bills offensive tackle and given to the Sooner who personifies Kalsu’s spirit of leadership, serving as a motivator and role model for his teammates.
Whigham, a 6-1, 200-pound Syracuse product, recorded 66 tackles in 43 games during his time with the Orange. He finished his career with 10 passes defended, including four interceptions. Whigham earned co-ACC Defensive Back of the Week last season in 2015 after making career-high seven tackles and two pass breakups against Wake Forest. He is a native of West Palm Beach, Florida.
Zimmer, a 6-3, 292-pound Ferris State product, leaves the Bulldogs as one of the most distinguished players in school history—earning three-time All-GLIAC first team honors. Zimmer led Ferris State with 81 tackles, 13.0 sacks, 26 tackles for loss and four forced fumbles. He is a native of Greenville, Michigan.
