ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles is being hired by the New York Jets to be their new head coach. Bowles was one of the most attractive head coaching candidates on the market, as he built a tremendous defense in Arizona the past two seasons (6th in scoring in 2013 and 5th in 2014) on the way to the Cardinals being 21-12, and was the interim head coach for the Miami Dolphins at the end of 2011, when he was 2-1 in the final three games of that season.
