It’s eleven weeks into the NBA lockout and it doesn’t appear that the players and the NBA are moving any closer to resolving their differences.
NBA center and member of the NBA Players Association executive committee Etan Thomas sat down with Dave Zirin in a radio interview to discuss the lockout, player unity and NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith’s recent speech at the NBA players meeting in Vegas.
The meeting came two days after a session between the union’s executive committee and the owners’ labor relations committee brought no progress.
November 1 is the scheduled start of the regular season and training camps had been expected to open Oct. 3.
