The NBA has suspended L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling for life and fined him $2.5 million for racist comments which were recorded and made public this weekend by TMZ and DeadSpin. NBA commissioner Adam Silver said he was “distraught” by the comments and urge the NBA’s board of governors to force Sterling to sell the team.
