Packers Re-Sign QB Matt Flynn

The Green Bay Packers have re-signed QB Matt Flynn. The signing was announced Tuesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Matt Flynn PackersFlynn played in five games with four starts for the Packers in 2013, throwing for 1,146 yards and seven touchdowns with four interceptions on 102-of-166 passing (61.4 percent) for an 86.1 passer rating. He was also with the Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills last season before signing with Green Bay as a free agent on Nov. 12.

Drafted by Green Bay in the seventh round (No. 209 overall) in 2008 out of Louisiana State University, Flynn has played in 44 games with seven starts during his six-year career and has thrown for 2,475 yards and 17 TDs with 10 INTs on 211-of-341 passing (61.9 percent) for an 88.3 passer rating. He was with the Packers from 2008-11 before signing with the Seattle Seahawks as a free agent in 2012, where he played for one season.
