Bears Agree to Terms With S M. D. Jennings

LAKE FOREST, IL – The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms with S M.D. Jennings on a one-year contract.

M. D. JenningsThe 6-0, 187-pound Jennings has started 26 of 47 games played over three seasons with Green Bay (2011-13), registering 113 tackles – including one sack and four tackles for losses – one interception which he returned 72 yards for a touchdown, three pass break-ups and one fumble recovery. Jennings added 20 special teams tackles during his time in Green Bay after entering the NFL in 2011 as an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas State.

In 2013, Jennings started all 16 games played for the Packers, recording a career-high 68 tackles with one pass break-up, four tackles for losses, one sack and a fumble recovery.

In the postseason, Jennings has started one of four games played, collecting six defensive tackles and one special teams stop.
