Danario Alexander knee will never get better

Rams trainer Reggie Scott admits that WR Danario Alexander's 5-time surgically-repaired knee will never get back to 100%.  "He does have a lot of degenerative changes," Scott said. "That means things over time, wear and tear, that are not going to change. So we're trying to maintain what we have."  Doctors gave Alexander the option to have a 6th surgery when he missed time back in August, but he opted against it.  Alexander spends hours in the training room each and every day just to be able to get on the field.  Doesn't sound like a guy with a long football career ahead of him.  Alexander has tantalizing size and skills, but he'll always struggle to stay healthy enough to be a consistent fantasy factor.
