The Washington Redskins could have taken Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert with the 10th pick in the draft. Instead, they dealt the pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars for Jacksoville’s first- and second-round picks, and the Jaguars took Gabbert.
Analysis: The Redskins still need a quarterback, but apparently a second-round pick offer convinced them to move back six spots (to No. 16 overall) and allow Jacksonville to take Gabbert. We’ll see whether the Redskins can get their QB with one of the two second-round picks they have now.
