Texans HC Gary Kubiak confirmed that rookie T.J. Yates will be the team's starting QB going forward.  "He’s shown me all of the characteristics you want to see in this league," Kubiak said.  "He can move; he has a good arm. But the bottom line this is the first reps the kid’s gotten. He can only get better and I know the team will do everything they can to rally behind him.”  Yates projects as a long-term backup at the NFL level and he'll be operating what figures to be the most run-heavy offense in the league.
