Colts RB Vick Ballard saw extensive action with the 1st-team offense in Sunday night’s preseason game against the Steelers. His 8 carries went for 28 yards. The rookie had an impressive 12-yard burst up the gut but was also stuffed on a 3rd-and-goal from the 1-yard line. Still, Ballard looks to be emerging as Indy’s #2 RB behind Donald Brown. RB Mewelde Moore is only a pass-catching option, and RB Delone Carter is still sidelined with a rib injury. Ballard is worth a flier at the tail-end of your draft. He could vulture a handful of TDs this season.
