The Ravens will hit the field Sunday with 3 new starters in their defensive backfield. Most notable for IDP owners is that S Tom Zbikowski will get the nod ahead of veteran free-agent addition Bernard Pollard. The team will play both, though, and Pollard is the more likely to deliver fantasy value. His status makes him a risky Week 1 start, though. Zbikowski is more the coverage player than Pollard. The coaches likely see him as a better fit for the versatile role that Dawan Landry filled before signing with the Jaguars this summer. Meanwhile, Cary Williams and rookie Jimmy Smith will be the new starting CBs. Smith is the most intriguing with his blend of size, physicality and ball skills. He slid in the draft because of off-field concerns. Williams has been in the league for 3 years and is finally getting his 1st starting chance. The team wanted Domonique Foxworth to start, but hasn't proved all the way back from 2010's ACL tear.
