While Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (shoulder) was officially a non-participant in Thursday’s practice, he stretched with the team and threw off to the side. “He threw the ball quite well,” observed beat writer Ian Rapoport.
After Wednesday’s practice, the Patriots said the quarterback’s absence was not injury-related. A report later in the day on Comcast SportsNet said Brady had X-rays to check for a separated left shoulder and was told he was ”all set.”
Patriots spokesman Stacey James said Thursday, ”If there was an injury then it would be on the injury report.”
In any case, it appears that Brady is in no danger of missing Sunday’s game against the Bills. The Patriots need a win to lock up the AFC’s #1 seed.
