The league has suspended Chiefs OLB Tamba Hali for the season opener for violating the substance abuse policy. The suspension obviously forces K.C. to play a game without its top pass rusher. Second-year OLB Justin Houston will be relied on more heavily in his absence. Cameron Sheffield and Andy Studebaker are candidates to start in Hali’s place.
