Not surprisingly, Jets coach Rex Ryan was not to pleased last night following his teams loss to the Broncos. This is the second consecutive loss for the Jets who are now 5-5 for the season.
According to Mark Cannizzaro of the New York Post, Ryan, who looked and sounded as agitated, was asked what this loss does to the Jets’ playoff hopes.
“Our playoffs start next week,” Ryan replied. “We better find a way to beat Buffalo.’’
And beating Buffalo, or any team for that matter, is something Ryan says he intends to do with Sanchez at the helm.
“Shoot, I’m extremely confident,” Ryan said about his young quarterback Friday. “I’ll go out there and play tomorrow. He’s going to be our quarterback for as long as I am here, which I hope is a long, long time. We know we got the right guy.
