In his introductory press conference on Tuesday, Broncos QB Peyton Manning admitted that he still has “work to do” in his recovery from neck surgery. Manning added that he believes he could play in a game today, although not at the level he’d like. He said he "hopes" to be available for OTAs. The reviews of Manning’s workouts with Denver, Tennessee, and San Fran were all positive, and we’re still over 5 months away from Week 1. Barring a setback, Manning will be ready to go for the season-opener. But he certainly needs to be considered an injury-risk.
