Peyton Manning could miss the entire season

ESPN's Chris Mortensen, NFL Network's Michael Lombardi, and beat writer Phillip Wilson all believe Colts QB Peyton Manning (neck) won't play this year.  They're just speculating, but it's telling that all 3 came to the same conclusion after talking to sources in and around the organization.  Wilson hears that recovery from a cervical fusion takes at least 3 months, and Mort admits that the 2-3 month timetable he was given is "optimistic."  The Colts will wait to see how Manning responds to this latest surgery before making a decision about placing him on IR.  Fantasy owners can't be relying on Manning for any production this season.
