Raiders OLB Quentin Groves spent a lot of time on the field this preseason. DC Chuck Bresnahan said that was because Groves needed the extra reps and that they were "really, really beneficial for him." Groves was a college DE who has yet to produce in the NFL as a 4-3 DE, 3-4 OLB or 4-3 OLB. He is an athletic player who was a top pass rusher in college, so it'll be interesting to see what comes of his 2011. DE Trevor Scott, meanwhile, is said to be making a good return from the knee injury that ended his 2010 season. The team is no longer working him at OLB and should have Scott set as a situational pass rusher. With all of the pieces Oakland has along a terrific D-line, we'll have to see just how many snaps are available.
