From Primetime to My Time

Who is Patrick Peterson ? Well, let’s get the obvious out of the way… He’s a 3rd year corner back for the Arizona Cardinals and has a bag full of talents. Coming out of LSU Peterson stunned the NFL with his speed and vision but it was Special Teams that catapulted him into history. Peterson would return 4 punt returns for touchdowns his rookie season and quickly made a name for himself in the league. Since then he’s been selected to the Pro-Bowl twice and continues to show glimpse of someone we all know by the name of “Primetime”.

Deion Sanders is the best to ever play his position but Peterson is not far behind. Like Sanders, Peterson is a threat on both sides of the ball. Opposing quarterbacks avoid throwing in his direction for two simple facts, 1) He has a proven track record that he can shut down their best receiver and 2) His athleticism and vision can be a nightmare which can lead to points on the defensive side of the ball. Although defense was both of their natural positions, offense came pretty easy to them. Deion saw time as a Wide Receiver while Peterson has been involved in plays with him as a Receiver, Running Back and even Quarterback.

It’s been mentioned a few times in several interviews that Patrick Peterson can very well be the 21st century “Primetime” and I don’t see any reason to argue. His ability to shut down receivers, return on special teams, run the ball on offense and even throw as a QB just shows how gifted of a player he really is.

We’re witnessing the growth of a special player in Peterson and although we’ll never forget the name “Primetime”, everyone will soon Join the Movement which is P2Nation !
