Lions RB Mikel Leshoure (Achilles) has a chance to make his preseason debut this Saturday against the Raiders. Leshoure went through his "most extensive" practice on Monday, according to beat writer Carlos Monarrez. “I’m just trying to do whatever I need to do to get back,” Leshoure said. “And hopefully, I can put a series of practices together to allow myself to go out and play. I’m taking it day-to-day and we don’t know. We’re going to see. I feel good. It’s really up in the coaches’ hands right now. I feel good. I’m just trying to get as much reps as I can and we’ll see.” Leshoure is suspended for the first 2 games of the regular season, but if he’s healthy, he could return to a sizeable role behind RB Kevin Smith.
