The Lincoln Kennedy “All-In” All Star Weekend Event

During the Pro Bowl weekend and Superbowl weekend, you’ll be sure to see an event or two pop up in the Arizona area. One of those events will be the Lincoln Kennedy “All-In” All Star Weekend event, named after one of the newest members of the College Hall of Fame, Offensive Lineman, Lincoln Kennedy. The parties and events will span from January 22nd to January 30th and will involve various different shows, games, concerts and tournaments. These events are supported by Pro Player Insiders and also part of the “Road to 777” program which which is a non-profit charity program.

I spoke to Lincoln Kennedy to get details on how his event 1st started. “Back in the early 2000s while I was still playing, I worked with promoters that would throw parties at the Superbowl. The last one I was able to throw was right before the Superbowl we in (2003), so that would be 2002, in Jacksonville. We enjoyed it, but I put it on hiatus for a while. This year, with the Superbowl and Pro Bowl coming to town, I said instead of trying to compete for the Superbowl, Phoenix has a very unique opportunity to not only be on the main stage for one week, but two weeks. I thought to myself instead of trying to compete at the SB with the big boys, the SIs and ESPNs, why not take my All White Party, which is my signature event, to the Pro Bowl, when people will be in town looking for things to do”, said Kennedy.

The Road to 777 program was created by Duane Bluestein. He explained the program by saying, “The NFL doesn’t support anyone that doesn’t have 1 million in surplus for their non-profit organization. So I went out and found 7 foundations to raise this 777k and give each of them 100k, of that, they will go out and find another smaller foundation and give them 10k to help their cause. That’s the only way you’re going to jump start the economy.
