The 49ers selected Oklahoma State RB Kendall Hunter in the 4th-round. Hunter isn’t a big guy at 5’8 195, and he struggles with ball security. But he’s coming off a monster season that saw him tally over 1,600 total yards and 16 TDs. Plus, he won’t be asked to shoulder the load with Frank Gore entrenched as the lead back. Given Gore’s injury history, Hunter is a name to store in the back of your mind.
