HC Ron Rivera reportedly called the situation "dire" after MLB Jon Beason was carted off the field Sunday. Beason is due for an MRI on his left Achilles' tendon. Those near the situation expect him to be out a while. We'll see what the MRI says, but it sure looks like his season will be over. Dan Connor would start at MLB with Beason out.
