It sounds like Raiders WR Jacoby Ford avoided a severe foot injury in this weekend’s preseason action. Tests revealed no structural damage, and he’s not dealing with any swelling. The team is calling it a sprain. But HC Dennis Allen admits that Ford isn’t a lock to be ready for the season-opener. Consider him week-to-week at this point. With WR Denarius Moore (hamstring) also sidelined, it’s conceivable that undrafted rookie WR Rod Streater could be in Oakland’s Week 1 starting lineup. He’s still just a late-round flier in deep fantasy leagues.
