Isaac Redman hip injury not serious

It’s been a rough week for Steelers RB Isaac Redman.  But here’s some relatively good news: ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that an MRI on Redman’s injured hip revealed nothing severe.  While he’ll miss this weekend’s game against the Colts, Redman won’t require surgery and could be back at practice as early as next week.  It doesn’t sound like he’s in any danger of missing the season-opener.  Redman still figures to serve as Pittsburgh’s lead back early on, but RB Rashard Mendenhall will enter the picture by mid-season.
