Beat writer Tyler Dunne isn’t buying the idea that the Packers will go with a committee attack at RB this season. “If one back’s in a rhythm, Mike McCarthy will stick with him for stretches,” Dunne writes. “That’s his style. He’s done it with everyone from [Ryan] Grant to DeShawn Wynn.” A fair point, although McCarthy has never had a pair of RBs as talented as Grant and James Starks. That being said, if either guy emerges as a true lead back — and that’d likely be Grant — he could easily finish as a top-15 fantasy option. This will be one of the most important training camp battles to monitor over the next month.
