When today started, we thought Bills RB Fred Jackson had a chance to play in Week 12. Now he's done for the season. Buffalo placed him on IR Wednesday with a fractured right fibula. The loss is obviously huge for the Bills and fantasy owners. Jackson ends his year as the #3 fantasy RB in the league. In comes C.J. Spiller, who has yet to log more than 9 carries in an NFL game. He also has reached 40 receiving yards in a game just once. Spiller becomes roster-worthy in most leagues, but make him earn a start unless you're desperate. His Week 12 matchup is a Jets D that has allowed 3.2 yards per carry to RBs over the past 4 games. Rookie Johnny White will also get involved. He has 10 carries for 32 yards and 1 catch for -3 on the year. The Bills also claimed Tashard Choice off waivers Wednesday. He could quickly become the lead ball carrier in a suddenly ugly running game.
