With the Ravens’ release of TE Todd Heap, Dennis Pitta moves up to #2 on the depth chart. And he’s capable of pushing Ed Dickson for the starting role — or at least earning his way into a timeshare. Pitta, Baltimore’s 4th-round pick in the 2010 draft, caught just 1 pass last year, while missing 5 games with a concussion. But he’s a well-rounded TE with the ability to contribute in the passing game. He’s not worth a roster spot in redraft leagues at this point, but we’ll be keeping an eye on him over the next month.
