Carson Palmer considering reporting to Bengals?

All's been quiet on the Carson Palmer front for the past month.  But on Thursday, ESPN's Bob Holtzman reported that Palmer showed up to Paul Brown Stadium in late-July.  Holtzman also hears that the Bengals have internally discussed a Palmer return.  Beat writer Joe Reedy confirms that report.  "Could he be back? With this franchise, nothing would shock me," Reedy says.  ESPN's Adam Schefter later poured some water on the fire, reporting that sources close to Palmer are convinced that he won't report to Cincinnati.  The story might not be dead, but it's on life support.  Palmer still isn't worth a look in fantasy drafts.
