BREAKING: The Bills are Staying in Buffalo as Terry and Kim Pegula Buy Their Hometown Team

What a day to be a Buffalo Bills fan!

After years of wondering what would happen to the beloved Bills after the passing of founder Ralph Wilson Jr, the city of Buffalo finally has an answer.

The team will be staying in the only city it has known for many, many years to come.

Sabres owners Terry and Kim Pegula continues to invest his money in the city of Buffalo, NY by buying the city’s other professional sports franchise.  The sale was first reported by Joe Buscaglia of WGR550 AM.

According to various reports, the selling price of the team was $1.4 billion. The deal is still pending league approval, which will take place at the NFL’s owners meeting on October 7th and 8th. For now though, Buffalo can rejoice as their team will be here for generations to come.   Reactions from the media and former players have been pouring in and will be updated throughout the day:
