Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall was stabbed in the stomach by his wife late Friday night. He was taken to the hospital, underwent surgery, and will be discharged later today. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that “no vital organs were pierced” and that Marshall is expected to make a full recovery in 2-3 weeks. “This is a very difficult time for Brandon and family, thankfully he will make a full recovery,” his agent confirmed. Marshall’s wife has been charged with aggravated assault. Details of the story remain murky, and it’s unclear if Marshall will face any charges.
