The idea of Bryan Lockhart, the Executive Producer, had for the basketball game is to feature these Old School Dallas Legends against the New School Cowboys Stars. The game featured celebrities from the Dallas area and other areas around the country. The game was held to help the North Texas Salvation Army with the raised proceeds going directly to the Salvation Army.
Rob Jackson “the athletes’ artist” was able to paint and syupport the Ballin with the Boys charity this year. Jackson donated a picture of Demarco Murray and Michael Irvin which was displayed at the game. Murray recently set the Cowboys the single game rushing record of 253 yards this past season as a rookie. Jackson’s painting fit in perfectly with this cause. It was the ultimate way to honor the contributions both Irvin and Murray to the Cowboys over the years.
