It looks like the New York Giants will be without rookie first round draft choice Prince Amukamara until the end of the month. Amukamara is recovering from a broken foot, which he suffered in training camp on August 6.
Head coach Tom Coughlin indicated that reporters should ask him about Amukamara’s status after the team’s bye week, which is between their game on October 16 against the Bills and their game on October 30 against the Dolphins.
“Prince is not ready to go.” Coughlin said. “He will not be for a while. We are not going to mess around here.”
“This week felt a lot better than last week,” Amukamara said. “I’m just happy I’m progressing.”
