The Washington Redskins have decided to make a change at running by reactivating Keiland Williams, who made the team as an undrafted rookie in 2010 before being cut prior to last season. To make room for Williams, the Redskins have released former Green Bay Packer Ryan Grant.
Williams played in 15 games for the 2010 Redskins, starting three. He rushed for 261 yards and three touchdowns on 65 attempts and caught 39 passes for 309 yards and two touchdown.
Rookie running back Alfred Morris has received most of the carries for the Redskins this season, amassing 658 yards and 5 touchdowns. Look for Williams to play a small role in the run game.
