The Seahawks have apparently agreed to trade QB Matt Flynn to the Raiders. The team has yet to announce the deal, but CBS’ Jason La Canfora reported it via Twitter. It sounds like the sides are just ironing out a few final details. Flynn became a hot name on the free-agent market last year and eventually got big money from the Seahawks. But he has still started only 2 NFL games. Raiders QB Carson Palmer, meanwhile, will be cut. Surprising exactly no one. La Canfora mentions Arizona as a possible destination for Palmer, who was due $13 million in 2013 on his Raiders contract. Seattle is left needing a new backup QB. Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times mentions Browns QB Colt McCoy as a potential target.
